Disposal of Unclaimed Samples
- The Government has set up a Board consisting of D S& D, a representative of Indenting Department, Under Secretary to Government Industries Department and a representative of Finance Department for the disposal of the unclaimed samples. The Board is fully competent to take any decision for the disposal of these samples as it thinks fit. Generally the samples are disposed of in. any of the following ways
- Transfer of the samples to the department which can make use of them at reserve price
- By sale through public auction or by calling tenders
- By destruction of the unserviceable samples
- The Board fixes reserve price of the samples on their own or on the advice of the experts of the various departments as it thinks fit
